Simon Stevens is a senior lecturer in political philosophy who has written about homelessness, the politics of resistance and storytelling methods. He has recently published a paper on live action roleplay as a method for public political philosophy, and in 2025 released a political theory textbook with SAGE that aims to diversify the curriculum. In 2022 he was awarded the Political Studies Association Bernard Crick Prize for Outstanding Teaching.
