Personal profile

I am a Senior Lecturer in Management and Entrepreneurship and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). I joined Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ in 2017 following completion of my Ph.D. in Business and Management at Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, UK. My research interests lie within the broad subject area of Entrepreneurship, specifically women entrepreneurship and SMEs. My current focus is entrepreneurial competencies and entrepreneurial orientation within the context of women entrepreneurship. I look forward to investigating women entrepreneurship further by exploring the role of entrepreneurial characteristics in SMEs engaged in international entrepreneurship

I currently teach on several modules including Introduction to Enterprise and Entrepreneurship and The Creative Art of Selling and Negotiation at Undergraduate level, as well as Business Creation and Innovation at Postgraduate level.

Prior to joining Âéw¶¹´«Ã½, I worked as Research/Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester. I also have experience working as an Academic and Human Resources practitioner in my home country Zambia.
