Emmanuel Adu-Ameyaw is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Leicester Castle Business School, Âéw¶¹´«Ã½, Leicester. Prior to this position, he was a Lecturer and Seminar Chair for the Governance and Accountability Research Group at the University of the West of England, Bristol. He began his academic journey at Liverpool Business School, where he obtained his doctorate degree.
As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Emmanuel's teaching and research span corporate finance, investment management, international financial management, market analysis, compensation, sustainable financing, and corporate governance. His current research interests include corporate risk-taking, managerial compensation, corporate sustainability, corporate political risks, and corporate governance practices. His work has been published in leading academic journals including International Journal of Finance and Economics, International Review of Financial Analysis, Business Strategy and the Environment, Managerial and Decision Economics, Journal of Applied Accounting Research, and others.

Emmanuel holds a PhD in Management Studies (Finance) from Liverpool Business School (LJMU - Liverpool) and two master's degrees: an MSc in Finance & Investment from Leicester Castle Business School (Leicester) and an MSc in Finance from Coventry Business School (Coventry). He also has a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Ghana (Ghana).
In addition to his teaching and research, Emmanuel is an active reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals and is open to supervising PhD candidates with related research interests.
