Emmanuel Oluwaseun Odumosu is a Ph.D. research student in Operations Management, Leicester Castle Business School (LCBS) at Âéw¶¹´«Ã½, Leicester, United Kingdom. His research focuses on sustainability measurement, operation management, industry 4.0, digital technology and digital supply chain management.

I am a team player, flexible and readily available to make a success of any meaningful engagement. I am well-grounded in business governance, strategic management, operational efficiency, corporate governance, financial reporting, digital supply chain, sustainability measurement, management accounting, and sustainability concerns. Able to communicate professionally, and confidently with diverse stakeholders towards attaining strategic goals. I have participated in seminars and workshops in the related field to expand my knowledge and performance. Title

Measuring Sustainability Performance of Digital Supply Chains in the era of Industry 4.0

PhD project abstract

 Measuring the sustainability performance of supply chains is fundamental to creating sustainable supply chains and addressing economic, social, and environmental challenges. However, with the emerging of digitalization of supply chain and industry 4.0 can help enhance sustainability in the supply chain there are very few studies in this area. This research aims to focus on establishing the links between digital technologies and the various dimensions of sustainability performance, which help improve the understanding of the performance implications of digital technologies in Industry 4.0. The theoretical model supporting the research work is the organizational information processing theory (OIPT) and natural resource-based view (NRBV). 

The research will adopt an input and output analysis model using a data envelopment analysis (DEA) approach to assess technical efficiency in the food and beverage manufacturing sector in the UK and their supply chain customers. The findings of this study offer a unique contribution in at least three ways. First, the study will investigate sustainability performance of digital technology at the developed market level on digital supply chains. Second, the study will be contributing to the literature on digital supply chains by looking innovatively in the methodology using an input-output analysis modelling approach. Third, this research contributes to the literature of organisational information processing theory.
