Personal profile

Mokuba is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Leicester Castle Business School at Âéw¶¹´«Ã½. His PhD Research is in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, investigating Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Education in Higher Education Institutions in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Prior to joining De Montford University, Mokuba worked at the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship at Coventry University, teaching enterprise and entrepreneurship modules. He continues his career development by successfully completing the EntrecompEdu Teacher Training programme developed his professional competences in entrepreneurial education and graduated as an EntrecompEdu Teacher Pioneer in 2020.

As an advocate for innovative educational practices, Mokuba specialise in student-centred teaching approaches and experiential learning, offering a more personalised and engaging educational experience. 

He is active in the research and has a great network of collaborators in the UK and abroad. Mokuba worked at Buckingham Enterprise Unit at the University of Buckingham on a project funded by Enterprise Educators Research Fund - EERPF (2019), developing Impact Assessment Tools for Enterprise Educators in collaboration with academics from Royal Agricultural University, the University of Birmingham, and the University of Derby.

His research interests focus on Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Education, Graduate Entrepreneurship , Youth Entrepreneurship , Students Entrepreneurship , Women Entrepreneurship, Informal Entrepreneurship & Necessity Entrepreneurship , Entrepreneurial Ecosystem , Entrepreneurship & UN SDGs. 

Mokuba is an entrepreneurial person, founder of an innovative and award - winning company in security technology, with over 20 years accumulative experience in the engineering, technology, business, and academic sectors.
