Personal profile

I qualified as a pharmacist in 2009 and have since dedicated my career to both clinical practice and the advancement of pharmacy education.

My journey has led me to a fulfilling role as a lecturer in postgraduate pharmacy, where I have had the privilege of shaping the next generation of pharmacy professionals. I am deeply passionate about education and workforce development, and I strive to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application.

I gained experience through working within various secondary care organisations in the East Midlands, West Midlands and in London, where I developed my clinical skills. It is this valuable experience that has given me an understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the profession. This insight fuels my commitment to developing innovative, evidence-based teaching approaches that not only engage learners but also equips them with the skills and confidence needed for modern pharmacy practice. I am also involved in the delivery of the Athena Swann Charter through the exploration of gender and equality in the workplace.

My goal is to inspire and empower pharmacists to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. I believe that continuous learning and development are essential to the growth of the profession. I am proud to contribute to this through teaching, mentoring, and curriculum design. As the pharmacy landscape continues to change, I remain committed to supporting and shaping a capable, adaptable, and forward-thinking workforce.
