Personal profile

Talitha is an Associate Professor, and is the Head of Division for Education. 

Talitha is currently the Module Leader of one Level 4 and one Level 6 module, as well as providing supervisory support for Level 6 dissertation students. Some of her previous roles within in the Division for Education have included: Programme Leader for Education Studies; Year Leader for Level 4 and also Level 6; School Widening Participation Representative; Divisional Placement Coordinator, and Divisional Employability Coordinator. 

Talitha's research background is primarily in Critical theory and Critical pedagogy, with a special interest in gender and positionality. Talitha is very interested in creative and collaborative research approaches and methods, such as Participatory Action Research and photovoice. She is currently working towards completing her Phd, which is a critical exploration into how children negotiate gender and sexuality within primary school spaces.
