Personal profile

Brian Dodds is a Senior Lecturer and teaches on a range of the practical journalism courses, with particular focus on digital and social media. He is Programme Leader for single honours and joint honours Journalism, having joined the Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ team in 2013, and continues to work as a freelance journalist.

His career as a journalist spans 30 years and includes more than a decade as a regional newspaper editor, as well as freelance spells with various organisations, including as a digital journalist at Sky Sports News and as a Public Relations consultant and writer.
