This course dives into Business Strategy in the face of competition and innovation, especially digital markets. We break down how businesses make decisions, how these decisions affect others, and how markets operate under different conditions. It includes practical applications like game theory, helping you understand market uncertainty and the importance of information.

Block 3: Econometrics and Data Science: Programming, Modelling & Forecasting

You'll get hands-on experience with modern data analytics and science tools and programming languages, enhancing your ability to conduct independent research and extract insights from data. This course is essential for developing strong data analytics skills, crucial in today's data-driven world.

Block 4: Contemporary Topics in Global Economics: International Trade, Sustainability, and Emerging Markets

Focusing on current global challenges, this course applies economic analysis to topics like international trade, sustainable development, and the dynamics of emerging markets. You'll engage with issues like globalization, economic growth, and international finance, gaining a deeper understanding of the rapidly changing global economic landscape. Students will engage with dominant theories to discuss critical topics such as Globalisation, Growth, Debt, Banking, Exchange Rates, Capital Inflows and Institutions in the context of Emerging Markets and Sustainability.

Block 5 & 6 Module Title: Applied Economics Dissertation

In these final modules, you'll undertake an independent research project, applying everything you've learned to a specific topic of your choice. This is your chance to delve deeply into an area of international business or economics that interests you, utilising your analytical and research skills to produce a comprehensive study.
