Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ is committed to taking Climate Action and supporting efforts to tackle global warming. This event launches COP27 at Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ by highlighting the efforts of staff and students to create a sustainable future through teaching, research and action.
Join the launch on Thursday 3 November from 5-6pm in Trinity House Chapel (please note the new location), to see how new innovations are being developed at Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ through the Net Zero research theme and hear how pedagogic approaches in the classroom are embedding the UN Sustainable Development Goals in curriculum.
Students will show examples of the actions they are taking to secure a greener future for the planet. The event will be followed by networking and light refreshments.

This event launches the calendar of Climate Action-themed events for COP27 at Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ supported by Âéw¶¹´«Ã½'s United Nations Academic Impact Hub for SDG 16, the Sustainability Team and the at Âéw¶¹´«Ã½, running between 6–18 November.
COP27 is the United Nations Annual Climate Change Conference, set to take place in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt between 6-18 November, 2022. The event will see world leaders meet to try and agree policies and strategy to create a more sustainable global future. To mark this, Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ is encouraging staff and students to help drive climate action at the heart of campus by hosting activities during this time.
