Âéw¶¹´«Ã½’s campus internet connection will be unavailable from 8am to 7pm on Sunday 12 January.
All computers and mobile devices connected to the wired or wireless network on campus will be offline while technicians carry out the upgrade to improve the stability and efficiency of the network.
If you need an internet connection during the upgrade time, we recommend staying off campus or using a 4G/5G mobile data connection*.
Apps that use your Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ login will also be temporarily affected at certain points on Sunday, whether or not you are on campus at the time. These include LearningZone, MyÂéw¶¹´«Ã½, MyGateway, Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ email and Office apps on Microsoft 365.
We have scheduled this to take place out of standard hours to minimise the impact. Wi-Fi in Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ student accommodation will not be affected.
Due to the works, the Kimberlin Library will be closed from 7pm on Saturday 11 January and will reopen at 8.30am on Monday 13 January.
After the upgrade is complete, you’ll be able to reconnect your devices to the campus network in the usual way.
