No training, no trials, just games...
Through Âéw¶¹´«Ã½sport Social Leagues you can get involved in competitive social sport with groups of friends, housemates, coursemates, society members or any sort of team you can get together. The leagues are student led, are fun and friendly and a great way to stay active whilst balancing your studies and everything else that University life throws at you!
The leagues are entirely recreational and we encourage all sporting abilities to get involved.

Indoor Football League (5 a side)
Looking for a fun way to participate in weekly indoor football, also known as Futsal, and compete against other Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ student teams? Join our Âéw¶¹´«Ã½sport Social League! You and your team could be crowned league champions and have your team name engraved on our prestigious league shield.
The league competition structure includes a League, Premier Playoff, and Championship Playoff. All teams will compete for the League champion title, while teams finishing in positions one to four will battle it out in the Premier Playoff and teams finishing in positions five to eight will compete in the Championship Playoff. For this academic year fixtures will be played every Wednesday between 5.30pm to 10.00pm at , with fixtures starting on the 1st of November and running throughout the rest of term 1 & term 2. 3x3 Basketball
Looking for a fun way to participate in weekly Basketball and compete against other Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ student teams? Join our Âéw¶¹´«Ã½sport Social League – 3x3 Basketball! You and your team could be crowned league champions and have your team name engraved on our prestigious league shield.
The league competition structure includes a League, Premier Playoff, and Championship Playoff. How do I get involved?
If you would like to enter a team into one of the Âéw¶¹´«Ã½sport Social Leagues, you can do so by completing the or the .
If you are interested in joining a league but haven't got a team, we can help match you with some like-minded players. All you need to do is fill out the Individual Entry Form for the 2023/24 academic year by clicking . If yourself and a few friends are entering into a league via this method, let us know in the entry form and we will keep you together. Each player will have to submit their own form though!
To note, the closing date of entries for both our Âéw¶¹´«Ã½sport Social Leagues is the 29th of October 2023, 11:59pm.
Âéw¶¹´«Ã½sport Social League Membership
To take part in a Âéw¶¹´«Ã½sport Social League, all players must purchase a £10 Âéw¶¹´«Ã½sport Social League membership via the Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ Leisure app prior to their first fixture. If a player has not purchased their membership, then they will be unable to partake in the league until they have done so.
The membership money will be used to cover the costs of delivery and be put back into developing the Âéw¶¹´«Ã½sport Social League programme.
