That's why we offer Âéw¶¹´«Ã½active, where you can socialize, learn new skills, and stay active in a way that works for you. With our flexible options, weekly sessions, and campus events, you'll have plenty of opportunities to meet your fitness goals on your own terms. Let's get moving!

Âéw¶¹´«Ã½active Timetable
As a student, you have access to the Âéw¶¹´«Ã½active timetable which offers an array of free recreational activities every week. You have the freedom to attend any session that piques your interest, as many times as you desire, without any commitment. Our sessions cater to individuals who wish to maintain their fitness, indulge in sports, experiment with new activities, and uphold their well-being. Our friendly and supportive student leaders, known as "Activators", lead the sessions, which are suitable for individuals of all fitness and experience levels.

To ensure your comfort during our sessions, we ask that you wear comfortable sports clothing and trainers. Rest assured, we'll provide all the necessary equipment. However, if you prefer to use your own gear, please feel free to bring it along.

Booking a session
To attend a Âéw¶¹´«Ã½active session, you must book on in advance using either the Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ Leisure app or Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ Leisure online booking system. This allows us to manage the number of people attending a session to ensure everyone present has a great experience throughout the session.

Âéw¶¹´«Ã½active Events
Âéw¶¹´«Ã½active also offers a range of free events that any student at Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ can get involved with during the academic year. These events are a great way to meet new people or try something new with existing friends. From glow in the dark sports to charity events, we make sure that being active at Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ is exciting and unique!

Looking for something more competitive?
Whilst Âéw¶¹´«Ã½active offers opportunities for students to get active in various ways, we know that some students like that competitive edge. Our Âéw¶¹´«Ã½sport Social Leagues provide the chance for individuals or groups to enter fun, competitive leagues against other teams of Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ students.
